SAME HIGH STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE!
Productions is undergoing a CHANGE! Les Holliday is retiring after 35 great years of service, and stepping in to maintain
the outstanding work of HOLLIDAY PRODUCTIONS are Dan & Sarah Holliday!
If you are planning a wedding reception, party,
dinner/dance, company party, or reunion, then you've come to the right place. Why risk the success of your event
when you can have confidence in the professional services of Holliday Productions? Holliday Productions has been
performing at weddings and parties in the Pittsburgh area since 1980 and brings a level of professionalism unexpected from
most mobile DJs.
Chief Consultant Les Holliday has a Master's Degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis
in Radio/TV; was on the air (commercial radio) in the Chicago area for five years; ran a student-operated high school station
in the Chicago area for two years; and has taught radio and television broadcasting courses at both high school and university
levels. Les is also a member of the National Association of Mobile Entertainers (NAME), the American Disc Jockey
Association (ADJA), and the Disc Jockey Association of Western Pennsylvania (DJAWP). He is certified by NAME through their
training course (an affiliation with the FAME DJ School). A native of Pittsburgh, he has performed at over 1000
weddings and parties of all sorts, and he has brought a professional, personable presence to every event.
Dan Holliday started as an assistant to his Dad (Les) back in the 90s. And even though he has gone on
to become a key player in international communications, he has never lost touch with his roots at Holliday Productions. Now
that Les is retiring from the spotlight, Dan is stepping in to keep the music rolling without missing a beat!
Holliday is already a successful businesswoman as owner of Holliday Mixers and a consultant for Rodan & Fields. She
is joining her husband Dan to create the new look of Holliday Productions.

YOUR DJ SHOULD:
Have experience. Les Holliday has done
hundreds of weddings since 1980 and can handle the expected and the unexpected.
• Be professional. Holliday Productions will coordinate the evening with your other wedding professionals to make sure everything runs
smoothly. Once dinner is done, it's up to the DJ to make the reception a success, and Holliday Productions will deliver a
reception that your guests will rave about.
• Have personality. Les relates easily to audiences of all kinds and will gauge the amount of interaction
with your guests to suit your needs.
• Provide great music. Having the music you want is most important, and Holliday Productions is committed
to having that music! Holliday Productions travels with a music library of about 18,000 songs and draws from a total library
of over 40,000 songs. If you request a song that is not in the music library list, chances are that it is in the expanded
library and can be added.
• Have the best equipment. Holliday Productions features the Bose® L1 Model II sound
system with double bass modules, the Bose® L1 Compact sound system for backup, and an additional
Bose® L1 Compact as well. That means the best sound you'll ever hear for you and your guests! And if the unexpected
happens, there are backups for equipment malfunctions so you can rest easy.
• Be fully insured. Many venues now require DJs to show proof of full insurance before they will even let them in the door. Holliday
Productions is fully insured.
• Have a backup plan. As a member of DJAWP (Disc Jockey Association of Western PA) and
the ADJA (American Disc Jockey Association), Holliday Productions has a network of DJs standing in the wings in case of an
emergency. No one can predict accidents or illness, but you can rest secure in the knowledge that you won't be left holding
the bag if it happens.
• Have the right price. While cost is important, it shouldn't be the most important factor in your decision.
Modern Bride magazine recently reported that the entertainment at a reception is responsible for 80%
of the success of a reception, yet most people spend only 5% of their budget on entertainment. While ice sculptures, chair
covers, flowers, candles, gowns, tuxes, and the cake are all important, it's the music and the DJ who plays it that will make
or break your reception. Don't risk everything by hiring a DJ based simply on price.
Holliday Productions has been awarded official certification
by the FAME DJ School, which is the approved educational arm of the National Association of Mobile Entertainers (NAME).
